Introduction:
Alloy 601 is a nickel-based alloy with excellent corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance at high temperatures, and good high-temperature strength.

Applications:
Due to its outstanding oxidation and corrosion resistance, Alloy 601 is widely used in heating equipment, chemical industry, environmental pollution control, aerospace, and power industries. Typical applications include annealing, carburizing, and nitriding heat treatment equipment and components; industrial furnace parts such as radiant tubes, sleeves, flame shields, gas nozzles, resistance heating elements, and resistance wire sleeves; condenser tubes in chemical processing; and certain equipment components in nitric acid production. Alloy 601 is available in a variety of metallurgical forms, including plates, tubes, wires, strips, bars, and forgings.
