825 (N08825 / 2.4858 / 0Cr21Ni42Mo3Cu2Ti)

Introduction:
Alloy 825 is an iron-stabilized Ni-Fe-Cr-Mo-Cu corrosion-resistant alloy. Internationally, it is known as Incoloy 825, and it is also referred to as Ni-O-nel 825 or Ni-O-nel alloy. The Chinese national standard designation is GB NS142. This alloy offers excellent resistance to both general and localized corrosion, along with good processing properties. As a result, it is widely used in the chemical, energy, petrochemical, and hydrometallurgical industries.

Applications:
Due to its broad corrosion resistance, Alloy 825 is widely applied in the chemical processing industry, hot seawater environments, and water treatment plants. It is mainly used for heat exchangers, pipelines, valves, and pumps handling hot sulfuric acid, chloride-containing solutions, and sulfite environments. Additionally, it is extensively used in the paper industry for wood pulp digesters and in deep gas extraction applications.
